Neighbor to Neighbor

Help build a stronger, more resilient Monterey! Join in with facilitator Jennie Andrews for Neighbor to Neighbor, a localized network designed to ensure no neighbor faces a crisis alone. Whether dealing with severe weather, power outages, or other sudden shifts, this group focuses on mutual aid and “deep organizing.” Come share your ideas and help map out a structured system of communication and community support for our town.

Monterey Grief Group

First 3 Mondays of each month, 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM

Losing people we love is difficult and experiencing grief is a normal and natural response to loss. We do not have to grieve alone. Join this supportive community group at the Monterey Community Center to share experiences and find connection. This program is free to attend and offers a welcoming space for anyone navigating the challenges of loss.

Have a Passion to Share?

Our programs are powered by the talents of our neighbors. If you have a skill, a practice, or a hobby you’d like to teach, we’d love to help you bring it to the Monterey Community Center.
