About the Center
The MCC is a citizen-built and run facility open for public use for events, gardening, entertainment and recreational activities throughout the year.
We welcome your use of the grounds and the building’s space for artistic, cultural, educational and social functions of all types suitable to our physical location and size.
The building
In our renovated historic building just a short walk from Lake Garfield, we offer an array of programs for public participation and we invite you to join us! We welcome your input on what would be of interest to you. Contact us any time to propose an event.
The garden
In warmer months, we offer lovely garden plots for members of the community to grow their own produce, herbs or flowers for their own use or for sharing.
Please inquire for space by contacting us at montereycommunitycenter@gmail.com
Since we do this with funds from the town of Monterey, private donations, and user fees, we’ll always welcome donations. Thank you!
