    Post-Arbor Day Tree Distribution

    May 4, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

    Join us for a special outdoor event with Kevin West as he distributes pre-ordered trees and shrubs and shares expert planting tips. Special germinated chestnut seeds will also be available to people who have already signed up for them. Don’t miss this chance to grow something great!

    Monterey Coffee House Series: Fiddle Tunes from North America and Europe

    Rescheduled - June 6 at 7:00 PM

    Join local fiddler Eric Martin for a guided tour of fiddle tunes from across the world, including Ireland, Scotland, Sweden, France, and more. Enjoy a mix of lively reels, majestic strathspeys, and haunting airs in this unique musical journey. Light refreshments will be served.

    Monterey Marijuana Anonymous

    Sundays, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

    A free, peer-support meeting for marijuana addiction. This Study & Participation Meeting includes readings from M.A. materials and time for sharing experience, strength, and hope. Monterey MA is open to all orientations and backgrounds, with the only requirement being a desire to stop using marijuana. The group follows the 12 Steps based on Alcoholics Anonymous.

Plan an Event

White two-story house with a small porch in a wooded area, with a dirt yard and construction materials nearby.

The Community Center is available for birthday parties and other events. There is no charge to Monterey residents who clean up afterwards. For out of towners, there’s a $50 fee. If you plan to serve beer or wine, you will need a one day alcohol permit from the Town of Monterey Select Board. We recommend starting the process 45 days in advance. Instructions and an application form can be found here.

Monterey Pantry Pickup

Saturdays, 10 - 11 AM in the Monterey UCC church basement. The pantry serves residents of New Marlborough and Sandisfield as well as Monterey.

To donate canned goods, please leave them in the Monterey UCC church basement any time during daylight hours except during Pantry Pickup hours. Especially appreciated are cans of tuna, soups, beans, fruits, vegetables, but not anything that has been opened or expired.  montereypantry@gmail.com, 413.429.4254
